We decided to have some fun with Truck 23 today and here is some of the video footage. Truck 23 was bought in the 1990s from nearby St. John FD in Lake co. Indiana and still remains in great running condition. Truck 23 is owned by Shelby VFD and is a 1972 ALF Aero Chief with a 90ft. snokle and a 1500gpm pump.

  • Nice to see a classic fire apparatus still in service. Funny how they think these old girls are no good because of age. The old trucks are better quality then the new generation apparatus.

  • @highcountrytimber Thanks! Older apparatus might be aged, but build with better materials that are safer and last longer. This truck is here to stay!
