The guy is in a tug following the taxing plane, you can see the tug's shadow in some of the shots.

I hate Ryanair, and this isnt much of a race the car could go much faster if the plane was taxiing at a normal speed, maybe film it when the plane is taking off rather than slooooowly taxiing.

Once again, the title of a video ruins it. It's actually a very good and interesting video, but as soon as you put the word "Race" in there, then people expect something else, and all the boneheads come out and say it sux. If it were aimed at the Aircraft Enthusiast community instead of the Rev Head community, I'd say the response would be different.
