A hummingbird visits the coleus plant that sits right outside my window. He (she?) carefully checks each of the zillions of flowers that are blooming on the coleus plant. Filmed on location in Mercer Island, WA.
This seems to be an Anna's Hummingbird.

You should try fuchsias like Gartenmeister Bonset. They have far more nectar then those little blooms provide. I had 2 last year and they visited the fuchsias at least 3 times a day.
