In the early 60's I saw several of this type around Louisville, KY being towed by full size big block V8 American sedans. Don't know why they did not catch on?

I'd like to see a modern car do this. You'd have to do some serious modding. Yesterday's steel vs. today's fiberglass.. :/ not looking good for this great design.

Brilliant! Today's RV manufacturers ought to design something like this. Image it ... Their target audience would include everyone with a car! I would buy a trailer like this and tow it with my civic coupe. Too cool!
