The music from this news open was also used in an old 'Cinema Seven' opening (for WXYZ) as well.

WLS-TV in Chicago also used the "Stand Up" promo campaign, but they never used on Eyewitness News - they used News Series 2000.

i remember leon bibb from channel 3 and now he switch to channel 5. leon was a gentle talker on the phone with me.

That set looks sooooo cheap. They had a much better set in the 70's for Doug Adair and Mike Landess. Their sets had racing stripes and the two main anchors sat at a desk several steps above the rest of the set. Leon Bibb looks just like Obama there.

Oh I know about Leon very well...and I can't remember the link now...but there's a site that has many former Cleveland broadcasters listed and what they're doing now. It was a good site...wish I could remember it.
