It's a song about a girl, her boyfriend brokes up with her. Life hasn't meaning for her anymore, but she keeps on living, finding strenght in what their relation lefts her. She's afraid to die, too, she doesn't want to feel pain anymore, so she just wanders around, helplessly hoping to attract his attention.
It's just my interpretation, thought.
