NEVER SEEN Cathedral Quartet Video (THIS OL HOUSE)

1990 CATHEDRAL QUARTET in Okeechobee FL. Jan. 26 at the convetion hall , this group was very cordial as they entertained the crowd and comedy was a prioriaty, but the need for the spirit to be present was a trait that the CATS enshrined in the presentation of Jesus Christ 's Gospel .

I've all ways wondered what was the reasoning of Danny leaving the group then, Just when they were to be on the Dove awards.... any knowlege be apprceiated

I love the Cathedrals I wish the southern gospel groups would abandon using tacks and go back to live bands. It has really taken away from the sound and feeling of good ol gospel songs like this one. although this is good singin!

Danny left to save his family, to keep from losing his family, his family where more important than the Cathedrals, and that makes sense, and then he lost them anyways unforunately, I hated that about Danny, but George told him, even though Ernie is my son and law, you are the best tenor we ever had in the group, not taking away anything from Ernie, for he is agreat tenor also. Then Danny got drove crazy when he tried to manage Perfect Heart, after the manager dumped them, thats another story.

Based on this performance, even Danny almost missed the high note....what happened to Kurt Young on the Dove Awards shortly after could have just as easily happened to anyone.....

This is awesome - it's great to see The Cats like this and be able to appreciate the true live setting (vs. clips of singing only or made-for-video productions). Thanks for posting. I'd love to see more videos like these from this and other concerts similar to this.

Danny left because of his family. I have heard many of other reasons, but he said at one of his concerts, it was because he missed his family.
