Just cheeking in to see if you have made any progress or further tests with your Replication. Hopfuly you'll have some positive news to report : )

I would agree that Thane Heins has something to do with this.
Usually the prime mover is in the middle but your putting it at the top.
Ask kdkinen he did a great replication.

We must use generators which has very little drag to slow down the system. My thoughts go to something like a Thane Heins generator or what this youtube user 1energy4u invented. I have made my first video, see user chalkalisreplication Lot of work to do.

@knovos You're right, the cogging caused by the generator really slows it down. I'll look into the Thane Heins generator. Great first video you made!

Very nice control unit! With my first experiments I noticed there isn't that much power on the shaft. When you try to stop the system by hand there is not much force needed to slow it down. To early to make conclusions. Like you said, maybe the design need some modifications because it is scaled down. Another idea is to make a pulse system attached to the shaft with magnets and coils with Lenz law killing. Great progress!

@knovos I wonder if this system only works at higher rpm. If that's the case I can put the generator in motor mode until It gets up to speed and then switch it to generator mode. Otherwise, it follows all the rule of physics: energy in = energy out, less frictional losses. In other words, no multiplication of energy from gravity, inertia, etc. I'm not say I'm giving up yet, I just need to try a few more scenarios.
