Firstly, more lines need to be built to alleviate the problem of car parks getting full so soon (so less having to travel by to congested stations), and no QR/Queensland Rail manager can do a thing about that - that's up to the government to spend the money.
The Brisbane suburban network is trying to achieve a lot with little.
Secondly, a train from Ferny Grove to the city, but changing "at the list minute" is still going to get 99% of people where they want to go - the Brisbane CBD. Trivial.
