Yalda is not a right name for shabechelle.Noboddy of nothing is born on this night. this night is longste night of the year.after this night days become longer and son shains stronger. chelle means 40 days far of from something also we have sade 100 days before new year. we are from nature and we live in it and we have respect for it.

We should appreciate that we all have a same root and a lot in common that can be seen in form of these common traditions. We all, religious or not, celebrate Yalda/Christmas as a celebration of light and birthday of Mehr/Mithra/Jesus. Christmas has been celebrated under name of Yalda for thousands of years before the birthday of Jesus.
So Marry Yalda/Christmas and Happy New Year, no matter are we Moslem, Christian, Jew etc.
