I'll be waiting...

Omg, I feel so so bad.
A few months ago Lizzie started to stop, or nap occasionally. People kept telling me it was her "being naughty" & "trying it on", one of my pc instructers even said she was a "horrible horse" which made me so soo angry. She was in no way a "horrible horse" something was wrong. I got her her teeth checked as a first option & everything was ok with them. Beginning of the year I tried riding her again when MY back was better, and she started rearing and bucking, and felt really tense. (the riding clips in this vid which was also the last time i rode her). I knew then something was definatly wrong & got the saddler out, he restuffed the saddle, but it still made no difference. So then I called the vet out. She said she couldn't see anything significantly wrong. So we rang a Monty Roberts associate who reccomended a lady from her NH group, who specialises in backs (she also happens to watch my vids :D which turned out very useful) she said there was something seriously wrong with her back, either due to an old injury (probably from the field) or a back disease. and she said Lizzie's behaviour was amazing considering how much pain she was in. We're getting the results soon, and I'm keeping everything crossed that it isn't a disease.

When I found out I just felt so unbelievably guilty. She'd tried to tell me subtly by stopping and still tried her hardest for me, until she had to resort in rearing. It's definately taught me a lesson anyway. I havn't ridden her in so long now, & won't be able to for even longer I expect. But it means nothing to me, I just want her to get better. She's currently being spoilt rotten x] I just love her so so much. And this song just fitted perfectly to the situation. =]

i loved the photos that were like photoshoot style where you were wearing non-riding clothes..if that makes sense...the greenish blueish or whatever colour it was i cant remember..top..lol wow that sounds confusing..anyway i thought it was a sweet picture :)

My mom is a massage therapist for horses and i think that it could make a difference!! and if you dont live by us im sure she could find another massage therapist around you!

I love your videos they are so sweet, i hope one day ill be able to have a horse and bond with him/her the way you and Lizzie clearly have. i really hope that if Lizzie isnt better by now that she gets better soon. ;)

Oh.. thats so wonderful. The pictures.. and the music, I have tears in my eyes.. But what is happened? Is she died? Or you can'´t her riding ? Sorry my english is bad. I'm german, usually I'm good in English.. But I can't discribe it good in English...

well done for figuring it out. My mare happened to do the same over christmas. We didnt get the worst on camera. But she was so much like your mare above, all due to back problems that our ciro sorted out thankfully. I know you feel guitly so did i. But they move on and forget. But i am really happy you tried to help her in otherways. Unlike some people.
