  • This was one of my favorite concerts ever. And at that time, Roger was competing with his ex-band mates who were on tour at the same time. Roger could not sell out arenas yet so he played this concert in small theaters. I saw him at the Arie Crown theater in Chicago and it was one of the most intimate concert experiences I ever had. The sound was absolutely fantastic and when it got to the near nuclear war segment, you could feel it through your entire body.

  • Roger the greatest we have today

  • Will there be another argument about Wales here?

    I find them culturally unique.

  • @Chickentongue Small auditoriums are the best. Who wants to be one of 75000 people?? I saw Dire Straights at a small auditorium many years back. IT was one of the best sounds I've ever heard.

    Greetings from Iran

  • I love this song, and I dont know why.........

  • @DrDeath26 He's one of the best. His music was a direct extension of his life, wherever he was in life, whatever he was thinking about at the time went into the music. It's smart music with elements of politics and philosophy, and the human experience in general; pure honest music with incredible integrity. I wish there were more musicians like him on the earth.

  • @DanLetts97 You hit the nail on the head when you talk about his music and the emotional impact! I am a guitarist and some of Roger's best songs are just so easy to play... but the lyrics and how they hit you is what connects. KAOS was musically interesting, especially considering it was 1987. But when I listen to that album I never skip a track... I listen to it straight through... and I have the *unauthorized* more fleshed out version titled Complete KAOS.

  • @DrDeath26 Interesting that you're talking about the "concept" more than the music. Waters albums always had great concepts but the music was at times questionable. Still, I love the guy and his music for it's emotional impact even though I've gotta admit that parts of his solo albums are sometimes very weak.

  • I love this album.....just wish the full album would have been or will eventually be released...because so many people misunderstand the work behind it, if they've not seen a KAOS concert.

    Roger Waters......you're amazing.

  • @theidealcopy yes, the first part of the melody is the same
