Raul from Novation stopped by audioMIDI.com and took us on a quick tour of Automap 4. The latest version replaces Automap 3 and 3Pro. It's the software interface for controlling your DAW and plugins with Novation's Impulse, SL mkII keyboards, and others.

I'm having trouble with automap 4 recognizing user guide for pro tools 8 and it doesn't detect logic express 8 at all. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. I've installed and uninstalled automap several times and I still am unable to finish the software setup.

I recently have bought the 25key impulse and every time i connect it says i ahve to connect thru auto map again, any ideas why its just not staying once after i do it?
