I think this is windows 98? I can tell because they used Microsoft Chat, which I use today to make comics.

They got rid of them in office 2007 because they thought 'twas embarrassing to have little cartoon thingies in the middle of a serious professional office program... I disagree, I miss my little F1 robot!
