  • Hello and thanks for the video. I have a question: Will drinking plenty of water keep the discs healthy? I also get chiropractic adjustments once or twice a month as needed

  • @gnortonshores yes drinking water and avoiding other drinks that can effect the blood chemistry like soft drinks, energy drinks, alcohol and coffe etc will ensure that the fluid in your body that nourishes your discs stays clean and higher in nutrients. The disc doesnt have a very good blood supply so it gets its nutrition from drawing in surrounding fluid . Thanks Dr Ian

  • Hi Youtubers, Sorry for the delay in getting back to your questions, the practice has been flat out lately and then I am leaving to teach in Europe end of this week. Will get to your questions as soon as I can. Thanks so much for your support. All the best in health and happiness, Dr. Ian.

  • Thanks!!! I got further detail and I fou nd I did sumthin really bad to my sacrum but idk what it called.. Kinda happy I quit gymnastics :/

  • @xxxKaydgrlxxx Sorry for the late reply, I actually did write to you but it must have failed to post.... Your sacrum must be fixed by the right person. Start with int Gonstead directory for a local Practitioner. All the best, Dr Ian.

  • Great vid!!! I went to a gonstead chiropractor not to long ago for asthma nd I found that I had fractured my back when I was still in gymnastics a few years ago.. I never had back pain though.. How is that possible??

  • @xxxKaydgrlxxx Hi & thanks for your comment. You dont need to have back pain to have symptoms that come from the spine. Every tissue & organ needs a nerve supply to work and nearly every nerve goes through the spine to get where it has to go. If the nerve is irritated by spinal dysfunction, whatever that nerve effects can't work properly. The misalignment tho doesn't always hurt, the body can compensate to take pressure away from the dysfunctional area. The nerve will still be irritated. Dr Ian

Hey Dr. Ian, I've been watching your videos and I have to say that you have THE cleanest, nastiest, most specific side posture adjustments I've ever seen. I am down to my last 6 months in chiropractic school and I'm very much interested in Gonstead technique and protocol. These videos are a great learning tool. Thanks!

    Sincerely,

    Tyler
