@KaGoyong , AWD= all wheel drive...... most cars have 4 wheels,. so , call me crazy but, an all wheel drive car is exactly the same thing as a 4 wheel drive car, yes there are variations of use, but the terms mean the same thing, subaru wrx=4 wheel drive , hummer=4 wheel drive.....your explanation shows your lack of mechanical knowledge, audi quattro=4wd, unimog=4wd, mitsi evo=4wd.................

AWD is drive on four wheels but not low gear. 4WD meanwhile has the option of low-4 when the going really gets tough but you can't use it on asphalt, concrete or bitumen. Well, you can use it, but it will damage your transmission.
