Shenzhou 7 Mini Companion Satellite

The Shenzhou 7's mini companion satellite entered a 4x8 km elliptical orbit around the orbital module. The mini-sat has self-navigation system that allow it to approach other orbital vehicles. The satellite was a cube about 40 cm (16 in) long, with a mass of 40 kilograms (88 lb); it carried boost devices and two 150-megapixel stereo cameras. The satellite's tasks included testing the mini-satellite technology, observing and monitoring the spacecraft, and testing the tracking and approaching technology used for space rendezvous and docking

According to the mission plans, the miniaturized satellite will first take photos and videos near the spacecraft, then maneuver to about 100 to 200 kilometres (62 to 120 mi) away from the spacecraft.

The mini-sat is not going to shoot darts or arrows, it's not military. But I guess if China decided to put a BB gun on it to shoot paint-balls, they can do it, it can be a nasty little thing.

@AbahZabah re: chinese exclusion act. in US history, Chinese were the only group to be denied citizenship based on their race alone. recently it receive attention in congress and there is a push by some member of congress to issue a formal apology for it. Short memory?

American injustice to whom? What is China's record on justice and the advancement of freedom? Americans give more to charity then any other nation I know of. America saved China's ass during WW2. Is that injustice? Short memory? Nice propaganda attempt.

We are lucky to be witnessing how China has becomed a superpower in everything she does at warp speed ! ...when a nation and her people is committed, nothing can stop them !
