Atheist live in societies where their are laws against murder and robbery, etc. you don't have to believe in god to have a moral standard. You can base moral standards on logical reasoning insteads of religious superstitions. You can know is wrong to murder, kill, rape, etc. without believing in god. If you read the Bible they justify murder, rape, robbery, child killing, etc. in the name of their God. Stoned people for working on the sabbath and other rediculous things.

John 3:16 sounds sweet, does this give you the same warm fuzzy feeling. /God sent himself down to be a blood sacrifice for himself so he could raise himself from dead so he could do what he could have done without doing any of that . If he is an all powerful all knowing God why would he need blood sacrifice to forgive. In Old Testament it says " and he found the sacrifice pleasing and the order sweet'. God sounds kind of sick to me. Would you join a religion that sacrificed animals today??
