Thanks for checking out the vid. I love compiling these vids from rapid burst shots. Like you say, you can really tell who knows what they're doing. Cheers.

A very good video. I was in the battle and watched this battle of champions which looked great, but the true skill of the two warriors only becomes apparent when you can watch it frame by frame.

Cool but why just not take a video rather than taking still pictures?

@AngryGunslinger I was after a particular effect. I have heaps of video of various battles and putting the frames together I find tends to exaggerate the movement more than just straight video does. Cheers.

@mattieb3152 Actually it did make it better when I watched it again. Good choice with the music, do you happen to know whats the name of the song?

@AngryGunslinger Music is from Japanese taiko drum group Tao who I saw at the Edinburgh Festival in 2009. Song is Tai SAI -1592 Version. One of the best live performances I have ever seen :-) The music in the video is cut and slightly remixed from the original.

Great vid. The rapid shot action combined with the music really set the atmosphere. And even though there is no actual 'movement', the pics seem to transfer far greater dynamic motion and violence of arms then actual video would have, in my opinion.

@Onisaken Thanks for checking it out. This is about the third lot of rapid burst shots from re-enactment battles I've made into a vid, but the first to properly edit, and so far (of vids made) the best for, as you say, potraying violence and motion. The guys who were in this re-enactment really didn't hold back, throwing javelins across the fiield that stuck heavily into wooden shields, as well as belting each other with various weapons, and boots!!!
