You said in another video that preload doesn't affect rebound damping. I know I need softer springs in front, because I only get 31mm of sag with all the preload removed. I have to add a lot of rebound damping to get the front forks to not pogo, but then it seems to rebound to slowly.

Is there a weight limit for a bikes suspension adjustments? What if the rider was 3 or 400lbs on a GSXR1300 or ZX14?

Bikes come with a load rating from the manufacturer. This would relate to a general capacity whether it is one or two people. I am unsure as to the load capacity of the GSXR and did some quick internet searches but was unable to find anything from the manufacturer.
In essence the heavier someone is the more the suspension sags. If you reach max limits then there's probably 1 inch give or take of suspension travel left. That's why we re-spring bikes based on rider weight.

Dave really knows his stuff, I like watching him tune susps, and Im trying to pick up on what he does, so I can apply that to my own bike, but I guess I need someone with the know how to help me out cause I need to be seated on the bike with my leathers on to get the proper adjustments, does Dave go to only certain events, and would he work on anyones bike?

yes I can help anyone with their bike. Note that on the OTT site home page we have a video on setting sag that goes step by step so you can pause it as needed. You will need someone to hold a tape measure and if you don't have or cannot borrow a sport chock you will need a third person to hold the bike upright.

I have worked on every bike that has come to me, and a hell of a lot more remotely through email.
You can ballpark sag without leathers on and get it pretty close as long as you measure correctly. That means a couple of friends or a sport chock and one friend.
The compression damping is easy - start half way and work in and then out to see what feels best. Rebound is much more difficult, but the tires can tell you how far off you are. The DVD's have that info.
