  • @ChronicCock I have it on beta max! I have been trollin antique shops looking for a player or even a beta vhs converter or transfer machine. I will not get rid of it cause it has toby & the koala, and a bunch of classic toons i grew up on Lone Ranger, new adventures of king arthur, captain future, danguard ace to name a few on the beta max tape it has like 15 full length cartoons that my mother recorded back in the late 70's early 80's when i was a 3yr old kid in germany, yes I was an army brat!

  • An Australian, in England, keeping alive an old Liverpool folk song for our heritage.

    'Nuff said.

  • i remember watching this when i was little and could never remember the name of the movie :) now i cant seem to find anywhere that has it :/

  • I have been trying to remeber the name of this cartoon for years! Thanks for posting this. Of course I've been singing the verse wrong for years but I remembered it. Been looking it by just the song for years. Thanks.

  • *Blinks back Tears* Thanks you so much for putting this up on this site at long last. I remeber this bit of the film but I could never remember the words. When I heard it again, I cried. I creid for poor Seth Davy and his dolls. Now after that I know the words and I won't ever forget them again.

"Da, da, da, da...Come day go day, wish in me heart it was Sunday. Da, da, da, da...drinking butter milk all the week and its Whisky on a Sunday..."

  • I get a tear in my eye every time i see that part love that movie

  • @ceitiosaurus wow....i couldnt agree less

  • Absolutely agreed! I would love to get my hands on a music box with the same acustics... Grew up with this as one of my favorite movies... So much to the point that the only reason why i still have a VHS is to watch this movie every now and then and share it with my kids when I have them.
