When i saw killing joke on the KJ2003 and hossanas tours (in Glasgow at least) there were shit loads of metal kids in their 20s,obviously attracted to the heavier music, so compared to them, yes, i AM older. But like i said it makes no difference what age they are.A Guy i know from Ireland travels to Scotland for their gigs and is in his early 20s and he is totally dedicated. It doesn't make anyone more of a fan just because they happened to around in the beginning

@sclapione so does that make me less of a fan than others then just cos i wasn't born earlier and not in my 50's?I've got everything they've done, i've met them and i've travelled to see them on several shows on each tour they've done for the past 20 years. So i resent the implication that Im not as much of a fan simply based on my age. Ps im nearly 40 now. Not that it makes the slightest bit of difference

@fanguk This is not always how it was done, but if you say so in this case I can believe it, but the backing track is not from the studio track source, it was recorded earlier and then played back so it's still an isolated version that way. But explain to me how the mic so clearly distant from his mouth fed so well if it's live vocals? The fact is it's a mime of an earlier recording that day. Study your TOTP and European TV performance history.It's not the original so it just sounds live. fact!

@edificemusic TOTP did things differently a little as they went but usually the band would record live with as little variation from the original as possible prior to the airing. Then mime to that version. This is a fact, and why something is usually funny about it. Most variety, talk and performance shows did/do this. That way nothing can accidentally go wrong with the audio. Just got home from KJ in Portland, bittersweetly fabulous, not beyond criticism in the least though, no EIGHTIES! burn!
