@upallhours9 oh yea indeed! I had them do some pretty humiliating things. I told them I would not trust them unless they sent me those pictures. I had the men wear dresses and hold umbrellas. oh man It was great

@talltom1973 cont. using the internet for everything. They think this is good business practices. because the name of the company is posted in the ad

The new scam on CL involves Jershey Shore Rentals. One ad had a rental for $1400 a month, in an area that goes for $3000 a month. They have balls, these scammers. They post a real estate company's name. Usually they tell the victim to send money to some acct, probably overseas. Then they tell the victim to pick up the keys at the office. Of course the real estate office is like wtf are you talking about? It's not so much greed,as it is stupidity. People are so trusting, and used to

the only reason most of these guys fall victims is greed!!!!!!!!!!!!! white folks are just too greedy.

@michnibable NIGERIANS are DUMB NIGGERS!
-
@MrBlackguy28 u are so so right? I'm a full blooded Nigerian. Its quite insulting tagging every scam with "NIGERIAN SCAM". Even the so called WHITEGUYS are scammers, It is in this same UK that some bloody whiteguys took £300 off me after trusting dem thinking that the WHITES are not thieves. The fact is trust no one, any person brought up in a good home with good manners will not become a scammer. NIGERIANS ARE GOOD PEOPLE. Bad people exist in every society.

My apologies on behalf of everyone in the UK.. We are ashamed of these fraudsters that think that a UK address is 'trust worthy'.. These scammers are fun to bait though, aren't they?

@TheAntsbadboy It is fun to string them along, because it costs them money.

If you are scared, go to your local police department and tell them the situation.
Say you are in fear of your safety, bring the emails and cheques down to the police station. File a report for fraud. Ask them what measures they recommend.
Perhaps have a friend stay over at your place, just for comfort.
Tell this person to stop calling and contacting you, and you reported the fraud.
It's not the mafia. This is criminal scum. Mafia doesn't deal in this in kind of activity.

i received a checked too and i was scared what should i do? i told the guy not to send me anything coz i dont receive things from strangers especially money! bt he never listened to me!

@toyitask88 Whatever you do, DON'T CASH THE CHEQUE! If you do, the bank will clear it, and you will be notified days or weeks later that you owe on the cheque.
You will assume responsibility for the cheque, and then have to pay the bank the money.
I kept the cheque and showed it off to the tellers at my bank, then the police station, where I filed a report to the Fraud Division. I gave all my emails,etc for them to process.
Good Luck.
