@MyManDan Well thanks for the input. I'm going to keep my career of course still. physical therapy? do you know if the pt program is good?? I'll keep a variety of schools in mind but for some reason this was my top choice
@selenafreek290 I also scoff at the fact that despite faculty reassuring you that you shouldn't choose a career fr the financial implications, yet the university advertises the perk of "making six figures" right after graduation in their radio advertisements to reel students in. Don't let me stop you from going to a school that you want to go to; this is a good school and I will be proud to say that I am a PCP graduate, but I found myself yearning for the full university experience periodically.
@selenafreek290 Don't get me wrong, it's a very good and prestigious school, but the only justification I can find for charging the amount of tuition that they charge is the name. Plus if you somehow get booted from the pharmacy program (not uncommon unless you devote your entire life to studying) it is designed such that you will not have the opportunity to graduate as a pharmacist, therefore leaving a substantial amount of student loans to pay off without a salary to balance them.
@selenafreek290 I'm a 6th year pharmacy student right now and I can just say that I've really noticed that the most concern and "cough" funds have not been concentrated towards the interest of students, but rather to the interest of university expansion. There are not nearly enough computers in the library for enough students to use, but they somehow found the money to install new beatification assets and open another branch of the school.
@selenafreek290 yea the PT program here is excellent
