Orange County Chopper accident!

During the Chopper for Chopper trade between OCC and Silver State Helicopters (www.orangecountychoppers.com, www.ssheli.com), the helicopter was supposed to present the custom bike to a crowd of approx. 10,000 people at New Braunfels Municipal airport (KBAZ).

The idea was to slingload the bike from the helicopter from one side of the field and place it near the crowd for Paul Sr. and the boys to show off.

Rumor has it Mikey was flying the heli and accidentally dropped it from about 100 ft above the ground. The emergency crew runs to the scene and one of them finds himself on fire!

The emergency crew and fire department respond and the crowd's eyes are diverted while Paulie surprises them with the "real" custom chopper.

The Bell UH-1 Iroquois better known as the Huey, used extensively in Viet Nam, had only two blades. The reason your able to see two blades easily is because of what is called a strobe effect from the camera.
