Bluefin Tuna fishing on Jeffrey's Ledge of the coast of NH/ME. Using spin rods to cast to topwater feeds of crashing tuna. Epic day out there as we went 4-7 on the fish with all 4 released and two we managed to tag. All fish were in the 68-70" class, about 200 pounds. Spooks and Sluggos were the baits of choice.

  • We were using a couple different setups that day. One is a Custom Calstar rod with an Accurate Twinspin 30 reel. The other is an OTI Tuna Sniper rod with a Shimano Saragosa reel. Both were rigged with 65lb braid line tied to 80lb floro leaders
