@Tatane73 M.P. is one of my favorites. I listened to all the 4 versions of his Caravan. Like a genuine jazz improviser he never repeats himself. It's just amazing! I prefer the version of 1999(he is in a purple(violet) shirt there. The one from Stuttgart 1993 is superbly performed but too aggressive and fast for me.I just see how the camels run and jump about the desert :))). The other 2 versions left me unmoved. Yes, the Thelonious caravan is !!! Glad you loved it.

Jesus Christ ! Thank you for telling me this rendition I didn't know. Wow, despite the fact I'm not a true fan of Thelonius, his Caravan is marvelous.
Have a look of Caravan played by Michel Petrucciani and let me know !

It's an interesting interpretation but Erroll Garner's version is still unsurpassed to my mind.
