i agree with everyone that they sound the same, but i dont think that means they ripped them off, its just the facts that with music there are so many different ways to play something, and just because they sound the same doesnt mean they are, you can say they ripped off the melody, but you cant steal inspiration for your songs, and all the bands have different musical backrounds, that plays a big role, and either way i still love the band

When it comes to writing music alot of things will sound "familiar". Especially when it comes to chords and Key signatures.
