Bush's most helpful action in his career. The probable motivation of his $200 billion is to make the pharmaceutical companies rich by agreeing to immediately pay their EXORBITANT prices. It will save lives, yes, but it is only happening because people are making money off this. There will never be a cure for AIDS; $12,000 a year prescriptions from every infected person in treatment until they die is much more lucrative than a cure.

Far over 1/3 of US funding for global HIV prevention goes to abstinence programs, which don't work.
Bush does not support syringe exchange programs.
Bush does not promote access to adequate health information for US kids.
The US is also including clauses in bilateral free trade agreements with poor countries, which restricts access to medicines through "TRIPS-plus" language. These agreements run counter to US law, which obligates Bush to promote access to healthcare in trade agreements.

really??.
Hiv/Aids is selective, the way I see it and it helps thin the population. There won't be as many hungry people, for a sacrifice. It is almost nessicary. Anyways, what kind of emotion were you trying to set?

Sympathy, sadness and maybe even a bit of introspective moods.
