Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya

Ashok (Dharmendra) and Amjad (Rehman) are best friends working as salesman in a Toy Store. Ashok dreams of marrying his sweetheart Ashoo (Nutan) in the village while Amjad's marriage is fixed with Shabnam. Ashok leaves for the village to meet Ashoo but finds out that she's been abducted by his step brother Bhagat (Jeevan). Bhagat has killed Ashoo's brother and will do everthing in his power to make Ashoo his own. Ashok manages to rescue Ashoo and they both flee from Bhagat and his goons in order to try to reach Amjad's wedding ceremony. But tragedy strikes when the train Ashok and Ashoo are traveling meets with an accident killing Ashoo and leaving Ashok in shock which could kill him. But when Amjad comes to know that Shabnam is a look-alike of Ashoo, he asks her to take Ashoo's place and nurse Ashok back to health. Shabnam reluctantly agrees to play Ashoo but what dangerous consequences lies ahead in this game of deception?
