  • Nice, are you using XNA's built in 3D engine?

  • I did not use the BasicEffect render system that comes with XNA. I used the standard DirectX 9 functions for draving triangles, and wrote my own shader system in HLSL.

  • do you mind me asking how long it took you to learn how to do this? did you go to school for it or was it self taught?? do you have a team or is it just you? Because this is simply amazing... i started learning XNA a few months ago and am able to produce very simple 2D games so id like to know how i compare to someone of your caliber

  • Well.. I guess it took 2-3 months to learn my XNA skills. I have never taken a programming lesson in my life, so it is 100% self taught. I have just started studying software at Aalborg U, so i will soon get some real programming education. I currently work solo. Age also has something to do with how fast you learn. I am 19 years old, so i have a strong understanding of math, which is a big plus if you want to understand XNA. Thank you very much for the kind words, it makes me very happy

  • Im in the middle of developing my game. I use 3ds max. What program you using? Im in the map development stage myself.

  • The game is coded in C#. I use my own 3D software to create the map. Some of the 3D models are created in Blender.

  • I love how people think builiding things like this is easy.

  • nice work :)

"99% of programming is copy/paste and 1% is staring at your code"

at least that's with me usually :P

  • Yuppppppy nice work

  • From what i can see you have done some good work so far.. these fools above i can understand why you ignored them.. and i hope you don't take their criticism, it really not worth it. i'm not talking about the guys who said good things about it just all the negative remakes are ridiculous and I like how one of them talks as if they know you personally ("Devilcry79")..

  • I'm probably about experienced as you are with game programming, and c++ is my main language, but I'm learning C# now so I can try out XNA. I've been using DarkGDK but the terrain engine blows. If you want help coding game logic and stuff maybe we could work together and swap some ideas. Message me if you want.

  • lol noob, you know NOTHING of what makes an mmorpg playable and good. animations are just a minor fraction of it.

  • ...and how long is the code ?

    XD 10000000???

  • stupid mother fucker

  • good job so far. looks a lot better than the previous version
