From the TV show "An Idiot Abroad" Karl Pilkington is in Egypt and visits a KFC. This KFC is run and staffed by Deaf people only.

@lualda15 I think the up-loader only wanted to show that there was such a place and did not take into account the nature of the show.

I think Karls point of view is that the people he knows take video calls for granted and is suddenly struck with a realisation that there was a better purpose for its invention that he had originally thought.

Either way I like this video and wish that there was more like this in England or even if they started employing at least one person who can sign BSL.

talking and not just for sending silly pictures - even kids use videochat?! As I wrote in my earlier comment I have a feeling of benevolent discrimination towards deaf people. I feel this clip was s "set-up" based on false fascination. True respect comes when you try to use sign language to those in KFC.

@signbird I know plenty of deaf people who would agree with you there, even if they employed one or two people who could sign would be a good start. I think the reason for the deaf KFC is because there is a high population of deaf people in Egypt.
