Exclusive interview with singer and actress Jennifer Leigh Warren as she prepares for a performance at Los Angeles' Upright Cabaret in 2007.
Jennifer Leigh Warren made her mark on the New York stage scene in an off-Broadway musical with B-movie roots that quickly turned into a timeless cult classic, Little Shop of Horrors, as one of the original Urchins, Crystal. After performing in the Alan Menken and Howard Ashman tuner, Warren made her Broadway debut in Big River, as Alice's Daughter.
Absent from Broadway in recent years, Warren has found her niche entertaining Los Angeles audiences on stage in productions including three turns with Reprise! Broadway's Best long running series as well as in cabaret clubs, including Upright Cabaret, in West Hollywood.
