When you go to Europe, you're immediately struck by how vastly different the cars are from the ones you'll find in the wide open United States where the gas, relatively speaking, is as cheap as water. Isaac Bouchard takes us on a brief walking tour of just a few of the unusual cars parked downtown in Trollhattan, Sweden. They come in all shapes and sizes, but there's generally a theme: small and fuel efficient.

  • "everything is smaller in Europe" lol that's not good

  • With a tiny little diesel engine in it.... Lol Yeah right, in that Audi? looool That Audi has quite an engine.

And I wonder why all those cares would be small? Do Americans need a truck then to do their groceries back in the US?

  • @PseudoApollodorus It is not inferior to but equal to Japanes cars.

  • The quality of European cars is inferior to Japanese cars, but it's still superior to American cars.

  • Good video, mate.

  • @swinglow33 Renault owns Nissan... Peugeot and Citroen are from the same corporation PSA Citroen.

  • @Synthiotics wrote: "and it also varies from city to city"

and from city to suburbs to rural areas etc

out in the country people often drive SUVs for example, and where i live (suburbs of a mdium sized city in belgium) you'll see mostly sedans and station wagons. small cars are for the inner city and are often a family's second car.

  • "this is kind of mainstream europe"

You can't really generalize about all of Europe. In some European countries large cars are much more common than in others, and it also varies from city to city. In cities like Paris or Rome you'll see lots of smaller city cars due to the narrow roads and lack of parking space. There's also lots of difference between the prosperity of different European countries.

  • @LeStigue you need to get out more

  • @PasoFreak The car was invented in Europe and European cars are much better, more economical, comfortable, faster and so on. All America can make are stupid, enormous trucks or muscle cars which get scared of corners.
