Do not buy this product in the UK - I used it twice and the button for release of base stopped working properly. Customer services basically blamed me for accidental damage and said that the 5 year warranty did not apply to anything external. There are no service engineers in the UK and I was left with fixing it myself or paying to send it to them. I think the Germans have a word for this product - MIST

@padraicshaun yes they are excellent for all sufaces, deep carpets and ceramic tiles and they have excellent suction and won't scratch your floors or ruin your tiles or deep rugs. They are so easy to repair and find replacement parts and so hygenic, but Mieles are the best really.

I've the silver n black sebo felix pet... it's amazing. Hygenic bags... never buy unhygenic bagless vacuums. These are used to clean the white house n buckingham palace too. The parts are easy to replace, they get in every area, and german brands are the best. I wished I'd purchased a German Miele vacuum though, as they're even better n more smaller n last 20 years like their washing machines, but my grandmother had a sebo n it lasted her a lifetime. The parts are expensive, but easy to repair.

By far the best value I could have hoped for. Spent twice what I have ever spent on a vacuum and find the Sebo Felix to be worth it....amazing quality, versatility, power, design, and ease of use. I have dogs, cats , ceramic tile, and carpet. This unit is the best I have ever used.
