so im guessing that the stock hp of 210 isnt at the wheels right?
-
doubt the filter did much but with the exhaust and tune i expected more than 195 rwhp.

did u notice much with the drop in filter?

I noticed a drop in my bank balance of about $35.
Subsequent research convinced me that there would be little performance change, if any, and that adding in the cost of K&N's filter cleaning kit meant that over the life of the car I would re-coup the investment in about 75,000 miles, going with factory-recommended filter-change intervals.
My final answer: nicer-looking filter, but who looks at it? Save your money, my view.

I just swabbed it real good with alcohol, masked it off, swabbed it again, and sprayed it with Krylon semi-flat black. I thought the full flat looked too gray, and the gloss black too plasticky. It's common practice to rough up the surface prior to painting, but I didn't. I had the same paint-job on the V6 vert's cap for two years, and it flaked a little around the keyhole, but I didn't mind touching it up once a year.

Seems to me they were both spinning; right one was out of balance, which may account for some of the unusual noise.
I no longer own this car; for the year before I traded it, it had the FRPP duals conversion, a very good sound that enhanced the driving experience.
