The mulitude of current bolt standards - apart from the metric system there are bolts made to SAE, AF, BA, BSF, BSW and other specficiations - poses a real problem to every mechanic, METRINCH sockets and spanners eliminate that confusion. And the METRINCH Wall drive principal has an added bonus - it works equally well on worn or damaged hexagons.
METRINCH tools have convinced even the most sceptical users, and find worldwide application today.

  • Pretty gay. More Chinese crap to sell to us retard americans

  • '

metrinch tools are made in taiwan,,,

how come america NOT make it,,,

    that is sad

  • These sockets are amazing, that wall drive thing they talk about is really why its so useful, not only that but they don't mar or scratch the nut so thats really nice too. If you google "13mm Socket Contact Points" there's a nice write up from a member on garage journal that shows why they sockets are so good. They beat out snap-on too (at least design wise)

  • Ok, first of all, what's up with that fucking moron using chrome sockets with an impact gun? Yes, chrome vanadium is "harder" than impact sockets, meaning that they'll shatter or crack first. Impact sockets are much softer so that they can absorb the blow of an impact gun. Secondly, as far as ANY professional tool, if you're stripping bolts (or the bolts already stripped), you're obviously using the WRONG TOOL. Stop "nigger-rigging" it, & either buy or politely borrow the correct tool!!

  • Best tools available I wish you could still get them, much better deal than snapoff tools. I wish someone else would make them.

  • @Mooseboy240 I have owned these for 15 years now and they are the real deal. They have never stripped a nut and actually work better on rounded nuts. I paid $129, they now sell for +$200 on eBay. Best tool I have.

  • no offense but any of this universal shit just screams "i strip bolts" to me

  • @qaz3000 They are wall drive? what the fuck do you think flank drive is based on?? you moron your no tech and don't own snap on your a fucking idiot and just proved it.

  • @HunterCO1 Hello fellow mechanic , i dont want to start a war , just giving some info , Metrinch patent is not flank drive like the snappy wrenches ( which i own ) its Wall drive which is very different. Your right about the 17 years , but metrinch has more than 3 different patent thats why Westward still had to pay and write Metrinch on the box I happen to have the Westward Metrinch kit which is 1/2 instead of 3/8 and seriously with rounded bolts they're better than my snap on flank drive ;)

  • Just recently I decided to use the "lifetime Replacement" Warranty to replace a slipping ratchet. I failed to read the part that says after you go to the trouble to box it up and pay to ship it to them, they want you to pay $15.00 to send a replacement back to you. What the hell kind of warranty is that? A set costing this much should have a better warranty policy. And for a broken socket.....$10.00 to replace it. That is not a warranty....that is buying a new socket.
