Elgar hadn't much idea of bears then. Even unruly cubs don't scurry about like mad dogs. Already too heavy. Or is Van Beinum to blame? Never mind. Goes down well in the USA, no doubt.

Having said that, Elgar's "Tame Bear" is a really endearing animal & a joy to listen to.
