Films due on Feb. 8th! Don't be late!
On February 24th, the Whitby Youth Council will be hosting an annual student film festival aimed at promoting creatvity within youth and sharing community talent. It's an event that gives students the opportunity to have some fun making their own short films, while also aiming at the development of a new skill. Students simply shoot their own film, edit and submit it to the Town of Whitby for evaluation. Twenty films will then be showcased at the Whitby Centennial Building on February 24th. It will be an evening where film makers can admire the work of others and receive recognition for the work of their own.
Submission forms and rules can be picked up at the Whitby Civic Recreation Centre. All completed films should be submitted to the Whitby Civic Recreation Centre by the date posted on the submission form.
