A short clip of a thunderstorm while on a trip to Kenya in Africa, if you watch closely you can see the rotation and the updraft! these storms occured on a daily basis at around the same time, just like clockwork! It was simply fascinating watching these storms evolve right in front of your eyes in the daytime heat!
Yikes!, that sounds incredible. My goodness that was serious growth. I can sense the excitement from your words. What a sight!. Good job you took some video. Don't like the sound of that digging in 40d...ouch.

yea it was indeed! i would have loved to sat and watched it everyday but didnt get the chance, i had to travel quite far away some days so i missed the weather, it was very hit and miss, the storms seemed to occur within the same areas, one of the days it was scorching hot and very little cloud where i was working, took 2 hours travelling back to the hotel and when i got there the place was soaked with torrents running down the road after a tremendous thunderstorm apparently.

it was fantastic, the pool area of the hotel had a brilliant view, i took a day to relax from the work, it fairly took it out of you digging in 40 degree heat! On this day i just sat by the pool, watched the clouds bubble from a small cumulus to full blown cb's within the hour, thats how powerful the convection was. And seeing this monster cell grow from a small cloud and head straight for me was one of the most fantastic sights ive ever seen!! and the best thing was, this happened every day!!!
