@carbilicon I would much rather own a DX-7 than a Microkorg (at least the DX7-IID

Very nice track, mate. :)

Waiting for my electribe to come :) I have microKORG XL. It's very sexy. I got the esx so I can sequence the synth and do sampling and make drum loops away from computer for while. Then later ill connect all my stuff to comp.

why is everyone having the microkorg and the electribe at the same time? it seems pretty boring . why not a cool old vintage synth or something istead? i would prefer a an1x or one in rolands sh series instead of this multiproduced synth..

@pomfrit93 well, they are programmable, and if you use it right then hopefully it won't 'sound' like a microkorg but that's all a matter of skill. i still harbour this machine because of its resale/trade value and because i like the sound. I don't like all the sounds, but it does arpeggiate, and responds well to MIDI sequencing from the electribe, and even Reason, even though there's latency issues there. and it wasn't like i just had $400 sitting around for it. it was a trade from a DX-7!

@pomfrit93 I did trade it for a Roland SH-32. MUCH better.
