Made this video from short video clips I took during the 2008 Wave Gothic Treffen in Leipzig, Germany. I tried to capture the experience as best as I could within the short ten minute YouTube video limit.

@trishmmr @trishmmr You can get by without knowing ANY German. Everyone under 30 speaks English (unless they don't want to talk t you), and there are many attendees from the US and England who you can meet and travel to the show with.

Das ist nicht notig. Jedes Jahr seit 2005 hab ich furs WGT alleine gereist. Dort habe ich so viele Freunde in Leipzig gemacht. Ich denke, dass WGT alleine mehr Spass ist. Leider kann ich nicht dieses Jahr kommen.

@birinbirinbirin AHEM Americans didnt start goth. Please look up who vivienne westwood is. She CREATED punk. And after that every single fucking alternative style has come from that.

She is British.

This doesn't represent the Goth bands much. WGT always has a full lineup of great goth bands. To anyone watching: these picks are heavily slanted towards the more industrial & electronic music options.
