Tim Sanders talks about why scarcity thinking turns people into competitive animals, instead of cooperative team members. Great for fans of Wayne Dyer or The Secret. Check out more of Tim at www.TimSanders.com

  • This is crap!

  • Is this guy an idiot? Or does he think we are? Scarcity is a real occurrence. Of course, it's not a good thing to live life in the constant fear of missing out, but it's totally idiotic to go about as if everything is available in abundance. Bad, BAD advice.

  • That is so true. I worked at Sony in the mall and the manager would compete with the associates for sales. It was such a bad situation for me I had to quit.

  • Scarcity is a fundamental part of the economy. Now that the resource explosion of the Americas are known and exploited, there is no more form of abundance. Further thought of abundance simply leads to faster depletion of resources.Nice example would be soil erosion. You can assume soil is abundant, and that's fine. It's abundant and productive (albeit still being exhausted) right now because of fertilizers based off of fossil fuels. If you still assume oil is abundant...then you must be deluded.
