OMD dared to venture into electronic music, where only a few had attempted before but failed. They influenced Many popular bands throughout the 80's and 90's, which also found stardom, such as Erasure, Human League, Ultravox, and even present day dance scene! Their music is still used in modern music, and here's 1 fine example how OMD still sounds as good today. Enola Gay was the name of the plane that carried that Horroshimas A bomb, and was the pilots(Paul Tibbet's)mother's name.

  • @thekeys44

i liked FYC. do you have a link to the remix of that song?

OMD inspired me to learn keyboards

  • Lets settle this. The pilot of the plane that dropped the bomb in Hiroshima is John Tibbert. The plane was named after his mother Enola Gay Tibbert.

  • we've pointed this out several times. always get a few that don't read comments before posting.

  • Just for you people thinking this was named after the pilot, it's not.

Enola Gay was the name of the B29 superfortress that carried little boy.

  • the superfortress was named after the pilots mother, enola gay, not the pilot himself.

  • amazing..!!!

  • Enola Gay is a Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, named after Enola Gay Tibbets, mother of pilot Paul Tibbets.[2] On 6 August 1945, during the final stages of World War II, it became the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb as a weapon of war. The bomb, code-named "Little Boy", was targeted at the city of Hiroshima, Japan, and caused extensive destruction.

  • @FubarTunes and Kraftwerk Inspired OMD's music
