"They bombed a district of Basra back to the stone age, there was nothing left. How many people died? Nobody knows."

"Politicians don't see the reality of war."

"We have become accustomed to using war as a means of solving a problem."

"There has only been one year in the last 1000 years that a British soldier has not died in combat."

"Who are we to go to their country, their land, and tell them how to run their lives?"

" The Johns Hopkins study estimated that, as of July 2006, 655,000 Iraqis had been killed, about 600,000 of them violently and at least 30 percent directly by coalition forces. It updated an earlier study (Lancet, 10/29/04) that estimated that 100,000 Iraqis had died during the first year of the war. An extrapolation of the Johns Hopkins estimate of violent deaths done by Just Foreign Policy (9/18/07) currently stands at over 1.1 million - http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=3321 "

  • It really is about time that we had the report from Chilcot in respect of the Iraq war. We have had the Bloody Sunday Report, we have had the Baha Mousa Report, and since then, nothing. Blair must 'face the music'.

  • These are the words of a good man.

  • And while I'm at it, 'Inquiries'are pointless,- time and money wasted, at the end of them, nobody is charged with any crime, misdemeanour, or otherwise, they are just a whitewash exercise,- witness Dr Kelly, he's a case in point, the forgotten man, a person who stood up to Blair and Co, look what happened to him, there is no such thing as Justice in the UK.

  • I certainly haven't forgotten Blair,- serial liar, incompetent, vain, -I run out of adjectives to describe this freak of nature, ( and his cronies) what Britain did to deserve him, and his like, is beyond me, this present crowd in 'coalition', mind you, at least don't pretend to hide their extreme right-wing agenda, men like the speaker in this video deserve Knighthoods,- not these greedy, self-serving cocksuckers in government.

  • Well said, nothing stated in this video that I would disagree with, what I find depressing, is that people like Blair and his Cronies, will never be brought to account for all this suffering they have inflicted, not just by supporting Afganistan and Iraqi invasions, but condoning all the greed and incompetence, perpetrated by big business here in the UK, I am in my early sixties now, and feel that nothing will ever change for the good in this country, never happen, as long as we are governed by

  • @Catchtag22 You don't seriously expect Chilcot to deliver do you? He will cover up for his mate.

  • I had the honour to interview this man for my student journalism assignment. Even when he was accosted by a vulgar man who abused him, he kept his cool and presented a clear and structured argument.

  • He is an exceptional man - his presence at Occupy London is detrmined and he knows well why he is there; he does not waste words - just gets right to the truth. It's an honour to know him.

  • Inspiring, thank you so much for standing up and saying exactly what needs to be heard. I hope everyone takes lead from this example and starts to realise exactly what we are becoming under capitalism. Its separating and destroying the world that does not comply to fictitious order of Banking. Where is the soul of humanity in a world deprived of reason through wealth...
