In this clip, Ian Cross takes a swimmer on the Swimming Without Stress residential course through the steps for learning front crawl, as taught to him by Steven Shaw. He uses the Alexander Technique, constantly checking what's going on with the swimmer's head/ neck/ back relationship. As the swimmer's attention is brought to his head and neck, notice how his stroke becomes more fluid and balanced. For more information visit www.swimmingwithoutstress.co.uk or call 01239 613789. Residential courses with Ian and Cheryl Cross in Pembrokeshire, lessons with Chie Cross in Oxford
