Marimokkori - Pull my mokkori

This is a Marimokkori doll, a mascot character found in Hokkaido. "Marimo" is a kind of spherical lump of algae that is indigenous to Hokkaido, and "mokkori" is slang for a man's wangchung, so this is a dirty pun. Some stores don't sell this because of the bad example it sets for kids.

@kohonatensai You're both wrong. Marimokkori is a pun. Marimo is a kinda of algae that grows in lakes and mokkori means erection. Put together, you get marimokkori. Sorry, I know this post is like extremely old but.. ;/

Wrong-O. This IS a toy for children. Mokkori is also the sound an object makes when coming up from a flat surface, i.e. an erection in this case.
