How do you teach him to turn around?
I tried that with cheyenne, but she does not get it

@Secretlife8877 - Use a toy or a treat to encourage the spin. Work on one direction and get her to follow the toy around...When one full turn has be met click and give the reward. When Zip is real excited he will follow a toy anywhere. People that meet Zip in person ask me, "How did you teach him all that stuff?" I just play with him a lot and redirect his energy into a trick. I think that is why it took him so long to learn BANG YOUR DEAD. There was no place for the energy to go.

He is so so cute, I got a texas heeler that is a "blue heeler and aussie shep mix" a couple months ago, i will be posting a vid of her soon , her name is Cheyenne. But anyway i know they can be hyper dogs and i was wandering how you got him to do all this stuff. And i know there really smart dogs.

@Secretlife8877 - I can't wait until you post a video. Be sure to email me and let me know when you post it so I don't miss it. When I was a kid, I had a Texas Heeler and Jake was the smartest dog I ever had. One of the most important things you can teach your dog is to look you in the eyes when you talk to her. I clicker train Ziptie. It works. Get you a clicker and a bag of Pup-Peroni. Be sure to redirect the entergy to a trick than letting it be bad behavior.

@kendrainuzuka As soon as you step out the door, he needs to be with you at all times. Don't forget to always have a treat bag and a clicker. When Ziptie was young I kept him on a leash until he was leash broke really well. How old is your little brother that interferes with your training? I have a 5 year old son that can be a hindrance. But, I get him to be the jump for Ziptie to jump over or some how get him to help in the training. I will post some training videos this weekend. Thanks!
