Post Processed Rain

Not really 100% happy with the rain itself. Needs a better texture. Also I intend on adding puddles and ripples on the floor eventually.

The next thing you should try is instancing.

Also, what form of occlussion culling are you using? This looks way to complex for a BSP.

if your goal is to make a game, why dont you use an existing engine? I like what you do, dont get me wrong, but it seems a choice that represent such a steep hill to climb, when there are roads around it?

This is what Crysis 2 should have been :)

I think the rain, and overall presentation looks perfect, the only things I can pick out of it is the grass animation looks a bit jumpy, the water dripping down the wood is not-quite-right, and the tree should probably be moving in the wind.

Keep up the good work! And give us a game using this engine! :D
