The Awakening of S

A movie trailer for a fake movie that we were assigned to make a website for. I had so much fun coming up with the plot and creating the trailer!

Serenity Child and her brother, Caleb, are seeking a fresh start miles from home. Wanting to help his younger sister deal with the transition, Caleb gives Serenity an old journal he found in the attic of their new house. The contents of the journal prove to be more of a distraction than intended when Serenity finds a friend in the journals original owner, Shlagha Baral.

A young woman forced into an arranged marriage and taken miles from home, Shlagha struggles to find peace in her new life. Her journal entries, once sorrowful and hopeless, soon take a peculiar turn. She begins to write of a mysterious path, musical laughter from a seemingly empty forest, and a new man that captivates her heart.

Serenitys attachment becomes obsession when the details of Shlaghas experiences in the forest begin to parallel her own . She struggles to find answers as she walks the ever changing path encountering the very people Shlagha wrote of , including the man that stole Shlaghas heart. Serenity is drawn toward the very same man, and her heart echoes Shlaghas written longing to stay in the forest with him.

Her brother voices his growing concern for Serenitys sanity daily, fearing that her obsession with the life of a woman who lived a hundred years ago has gone too far. But is Serenity really losing her mind or is the awakening she feels inside of her more real than anything she ever imagined?
